Struggles and challenges are part of every ones lives. The challenges we face throughout our lives makes us the person we are. Through our experiences we have learned to deal with the challenges we had. Students life is filled with many challenges. We usually say this phrase “Struggle is real” throughout the world. Students are very fragile and find tackling challenges extremely difficult. And they end up being victims anxiety, depression and stress.

Common Struggles that students always encounter
- Academics
Students face a lot of stress when it comes to studies. The pressure of increasing cut-offs, parents expectations, strict university admissions etc. only makes the lives of the students much more challenging. There are students who are “gifted” wherein a person have this critical thinking. In other hand, some are average learners and some are slow learners.
2. Peer Pressure
Students face peer pressure not only in schools but also in their societies. Dictionary defines peer pressure as “influence from members of one’s peer group” meaning- social pressure by members of one’s peer group to take a certain action, adopt certain values, or otherwise conform in order to be accepted. You are under peer pressure, when you choose to do something you wouldn’t otherwise do, because you want to feel accepted and valued by your friends. This can mean using foul language, alcoholism, drugs, spending money unnecessarily, late night outings, partying with strangers, dressing provocatively, etc. Students feel bullied because of peer pressure and it affects their well-being.
3. Competition to prove themselves
We already know that there is a competition in the world. When it comes to students the amount of competitions that they face is extremely high. Students have to compete to get admissions. When it comes to examinations and scores they sure face the biggest challenges. From the word competition it is really a stressful word.
4. Financial Stability
Shortage of money is another issue faced by students. Students usually don’t have control on their savings. Moreover, with the increase in expenses, students constantly find themselves borrowing and spending their money and end up in debt. And, many students believe that financial problems are the effects on their academic performances.
